I didn’t start using concentric circles because they were trendy 🌀 I started using them because people kept stepping closer.

And it turns out… that might be SCIENCE!

Research shows our brains notice circles faster than other shapes. W

Repetition gets a bad reputation.
People hear the word and think boring… predictable… mechanical.

But in my studio, repetition is something I feel compelled to do.
It’s an essential part of my self-regulation and my mental health

Birch bark, old maps, and a quiet kind of reverence.

My artwork “Evening on Canoe Lake” is both meditation and memory; a tribute to Algonquin Park, Tom Thomson, and the kind of stillness you carry home with you.
